Sweet Seasoned Summer Vegetables

That’s what I had on my knee yesterday when I came home from tennis. Ice maker broke on the fridge and I MUST ice down after tennis or I can’t walk up and down the stairs. I had The frozen vegetables on one knee and Rosina’s Homestyle Meatballs on the other.

So we are closing down 2009. I’m not big on New Years. As you know from reading my Holiday letter (and if you haven’t: what’s up with that!!! 🙂 – just kidding) I have already reset my clock.

Anyway we are having a quiet New Years at home. We stay up to Midnight (which is more than a notion for me – I’m an ‘early to bed early to rise’ kind of girl) but E likes it. We toast with champagne. Let 17 have a sip – just a sip. Boomy gets lemonade.

Then you girl is off to bed. Anyway given the rather sedentary non-celebratory New Years we have I’d like to live vicariously through you. So what do you guys do?

This question, by the way ,was brought up by someone new to the site Sean. Hello there! Hope you hang around. It’s a good group.

I feel like I should say something meaningful or profound (or at least make an attempt) but I said it all in my Holiday Letter. (it’s on the home page now of this site.)

You guys take care. Be careful if you go out. I enjoyed sharing 2009 with you. . . . OH CRAP!!!!! I just looked at the calendar it’s Wednesday. Not New Years Eve!!!

Ya’ll going to have to excuse me but I’m not erasing this and typing something else! I’ll holler again tomorrow though.

Maybe I should go back to bed and get my act together.

Yours in a small measure of chagrin.
