Hello all,

Can’t stay long but I wanted to share a new favorite phrase:

Emotional Hyperopia

Hyperopia is the fancy medical name for farsightedness. You know, when you can see at a distance but everything close up is fuzzy.

I think that’s how people are. It is very easy to see clearly when others are making a mistake but it is so hard to see your own stuff clearly.

Had a moment the other day when I had to stop and say “What if someone where telling you what you just happened, would the right thing to do be such a mystery?”

I put my emotional glasses on:( i.e. called mom) and we worked it out.
