There is, in Fact, No Place Like Home

Got in at 1 am this morning. At least this time I get to stay more than a few hours.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY GIRL!!!!!!!

I hadn’t seen boomy in a week because during the few hours I was home Tuesday he was in school. So he comes down this morning and I say “Hey Xai” and he grunted and walked by.

Three steps away he realized he hadn’t seen me in a while and turned and said “Oh hey Mom”. I got a hug that I didn’t have to beg for.

If you check my Facebook page you will see that I addressed endearments and flirty stuff from guys. ( I can’t really do anything but ask that they respect my hubby on that one.) I know they are just joking and E is cool about it but he doesn’t like it, especially when something semi sexual is said and people ask for a response.

“Hey Judge you’re so pretty” doesn’t get his goat but it’s the “hey baby hit me back” kind of stuff that’s uncool. I wouldn’t like it if the shoe was on the other foot. Even though I trust him completely – it’s just uncomfortable. I know they mean well and are just being funny (and trust me I am tickled that men still think my 50 year old behind looks good) but gotta ask for that line.

Here’s a good way to look at it: If it is not something you would be comfortable saying to me in front of him, don’t say it on line. “Wow you’re pretty or look great” you can say in front of someone else’s hubby. Other stuff . . . not so much.

Just had to put that out there. Not a big deal but had to say it at least once.

Hope my crew is cool.

The trip to Syracuse was great. We had some wonderful shows this week.

You guys take it light.
