Bad Boys

I know I have talked about this before but now everyone is asking for comments on it because of the Hollywood Infidelity stories all in the news.

I asked on Facebook: Do you think that women are attracted to bad boys and if so why?

First of all you have to keep in mind that we are speaking of gross generalizations here. All different kinds of women like all different kinds of men. Moreover, I think we HEAR about the good girl – bad boy thing a lot because it is interesting. Your average everyday woman marries your average everyday guy that never makes the news or fodder for commentary or neighborhood gossip. They are tooling along in anonymity and I think they are the rule rather than the exception.

Second, no one asks if they ever work. Again, it’s not particularly interesting gossip: “yea, I hear Joe didn’t cheat on Mary again today!!” Annette Benning did it with Warren Beatty. She got him when he was ready to sit down.

Just trying to throw out the range of possibilities here.

Me, I am having an average day except for a quick appearance on Inside Edition. I would tell you when it’s on but I don’t know. Maybe when I come back I can fill you in.
