Nice Night

E and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last night – a day late but it kinda snuck up on us.

Took the boys to a nice restaurant. And for the first time in I don’t know how long, everybody was n a good mood. 17 drove so E and I could have champagne.

Hadn’t been in the car with him for a minute. I’m sorry. He just makes me nervous. I was commenting the whole way. “Too fast.” “Do you see that guy?” You know the drill. It’s just hard to put you life in the hands of a guy whose diapers you changed. I know it was a while ago but to me it seems like yesterday.

Anyway the trip better was back because:

1. E and I were both in the back seat. (I rode up front on the way there)
2. I had had enough champagne to make me brave.

14 ate so much the waiter told him he was the talk of the restaurant. The chef came out to meet him. He is thin as a rail.

More tennis today. Happy girl.

Lots going on. This and that. Half business/ half family. I like it that way though. Busy Lynn worries a lot less than Bored Lynn.
