This was on my mind ...

Home

Good morning all,

I am home and loving it!

First good night’s sleep I had in a while. Book tour was good though – just a little tiring.

I’m leaving tomorrow for Vegas to do a fundraiser and TV there. It will be on Fox at 4:00 pm it’s called More at Four so if you are in that area you can check it out.

I’m going to tennis today too. I set up the lesson before I left. I don’t care how tired I am I am going to get my tennis in. Need to call mom. I have been remiss. Made plans with my sister to go see her in October so that’s good.

I hope they leave Serena alone. A champion in the heat of battle – these things happen. Remember John McEnore? I am really happy for Kim Cjlisters (sp) though. For those of you who don’t follow tennis, she is a woman who left the circuit to have a baby and came back 1 year later and Bam! won the US Open. I am all for the older women (a mother no less) making a comeback.

No other news to report. Went to the grocery store yesterday 5 hours after I get back. Perplexing.

Peace.

News from LA

I’m here in LA for my book signing at the Grove Barnes and Noble. 7 -9 pm tomorrow.

Hope it’s well attended. Book signings can be a little hit or miss. Anyway, I plan to have fun with it.

Good catch. I did not do Tom Joyner the other day because I ran late on Good Day NY. So I will be on Monday September 14th at 8:45 Eastern time.

I called home last nite for 2 seconds. E likes me to call when I get in the hotel. It’s funny. I used to call from the airport to say just got in. He made a pint of telling me the other day that when he says “Call when you get in” he means the hotel room. He wants an okay on the final destination.

DId you see that mean message some guy left on here the other day? That’s so funny. I ignore those so don’t worry about it. No matter who you are or what you do someone is going to not like – misunderstand or just can’t stand you. (Thanks for getting my back though ’09 )

Anyway I’m off to do stuff. If I get really ambitious i might go shopping. My wardrobe needs work. Starting to repeat the same three dresses!

You guys take it light. This is my Weary travel in the hotel pose:

The Weary Traveler

Funny!

I had not idea that I looked so wide eyed when he got my info wrong. I wasn’t bothered by it as it looked I was just confused. Am I an easy read or what?

Anyway I figure I have one more day until I start missing the family. Not complaining – I live an exciting life (even if I hadn’t intended to). But it’s nice to get a break from – start to miss – then reunite with the family.

Heading back to west coast. WIll holler from there!

Peace.

This week

I just did The CBS Early Show. If you are in more Western States you can still see it. I’ll be on Tom Joyner 8:45 tomorrow (eastern time). I’ll be on Good Day New York at 8:15 tomorrow and on Good Day LA on Friday. I always get the actual times late so I know it’s not much notice.

Take it easy, Thanks to the crew members who read and reviewed my book!

Will talk soon.

That's Just Sad

Thank you Jan. In my lat blog I called my new book A Sane Approach. That’s not the name. It’s Put it in Writing! Now that ‘s just sad that I don’t know the name of my own book.

In my defense I will say that that is the Tag line i.e. my co-author who originated idea calls her method of doing business we use in the book A Sane Approach to Emotional Situations. AND I was in the airport and you know how weird that makes me so MY BAD. Good looking out Jan!

Still working on the teenage issue in my head. WIll post on it after the book tour. Still no final dates and times on my appearances but I should have something later on today.

Will post later when I get a break.

Peace.
