Stuff

First, I want to thank Yolanda for commenting on Dinner Impossible as she was watching.  I forgot it was coming on. I knew that morning but my day did not go as planned and as I age, it appears,  I don’t do as well with a change of schedule.  You take me out of the day’s planned routine and there is no telling where I will end up.

Yesterday, was supposed to be a trip to Target to buy new glasses and get some cleaning supplies.  Husband borrowed my car that morning then came back and said:

“How long has that service light been on in your car?”

I say, “Oh a couple of weeks.”

“You’ve been riding around with that light an a couple weeks?” he says, all incredulous and whatnot.

“Yes” I say like  Miss Know It All, “They just make it so that light comes on so you don’t forget your regular oil change etc.  Money maker.”

“That’s not what this says.”  he replies.  “Call service.  We’ll take it in when I get back.”

I complied.  We took it in and there was something wrong.  I got the “See I told you. You ought to pay better attention glare.”

I smiled and said, “That’s why you are in charge of security.”

So once we got the problem fixed half the day was gone.  We had to do the baseball/ diner thing.  I did not clean nor did I remember Dinner Impossible until reminded by Yolanda.

Hope you guys liked it.  It was fun.

And yes, I am retiring that out fit.
