If You Could See My Kitchen

Hurricane  Teenager blew through my kitchen last night.  There is stuff everywhere.  I see that as a sign of a good time.  That makes me happy.

I keep trying to suggest things to do and places to go.  E says “What 18 year old boy wants his mother to plan activities for him and his friends.”  Sounds so logical when he says it.  And he is right.  The only input they want from me comes in the form of small rectangular pieces of paper with dead presidents on the front.  I get it.  I get it.  Time to let go.

I am having people over today to get my surprise off the ground.  They will probably be here a couple of hours in the middle of the day.  I am going to have a little food to serve. Don’t get it twisted.  I have not all of a sudden acquired social graces. The food was Vivian’s idea. To ensure edibility, she is bringing something and she has already okayed my watermelon salad which, along with beverages, will be my contribution.

Have i told you that I am taking my roadshow to Dallas Texas on August 7th?  Well I am.  If you are anywhere near there you should come!!!!!! More details will follow.
